Fly Dubai is commencing flights to Syria, with flights to commence daily. The flights will resume on a Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, under the following flight details:
Dubai – Damascus: FZ115 06:30am – 08:45am
Damascus – Dubai: FZ116 10:00am – 14:20pm
Syria is one hour ahead of the UAE so the flight duration will be approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes.
FlyDubai joins a growing lit of flight companies to resume flights to Damascus as the country opens up for the first time after a long civil war beginning in 2011 and the harsh dictatorship of the Assad regime provoked harsh sanctions from Europe, the US and more countries.
Fly Dubai Is Commencing Flights To Syria – Who Else Is Flying There?
As of May 2025, Cham Wings, Syrian Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Ajet, Royal Jordanian Airlines, Qatar airways have all resumed flights to Damascus with Lufthansa and Emirates set to follow. The increase in airlines traveling to Damascus should promote not only Syrians abroad returning permanently or for a visit, but it should also increase the volume of tourism.
On arrival to Damascus international airport, visa fees are applicable whereas on a rival via the Masnaa land border with Lebanon, there is no visa cost.
