Join us for an unforgettable adventure on our Socotra Tour in December. This isolated archipelago, often dubbed the “Galapagos of the Indian Ocean,” is a captivating mix of breathtaking landscapes, unique biodiversity, and rich cultural heritage.

Suffering civil war, coups, revolutions and bombings in recent years, the Republic of Yemen is generally off the radar for tourists. Unless, that is, you know about the island of Socotra. Located between the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, Socotra is an ecological wonder. Its extraordinary ecosystem has evolved in isolation for millions of years, resulting in a bizarre and beautiful array of plant and animal life of which over 30% can only be found on the island – that includes the iconic Dragon Blood Trees, with their unique red sap, and the ancient Baobab Trees, towering giants with twisted trunks!

Whether it’s coming to a new and inaccessible country, exploring an ecological paradise, hiking, camping, spotting wildlife or having an in-depth experience of the Yemen – Socotra is a place for everyone.

Despite Yemen’s recent challenges, Socotra remains a safe and welcoming destination for travellers. Our expert team at YPT will handle all the complexities of the visa process, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience. Every facet of the Yemen visa process is taken care of by YPT for €200 – no need to send your passport away anywhere. The chartered Yemenia Airways Jeddah - Socotra roundtrip ticket is an additional $950 per person. These will be asked to be paid at the moment of your booking with us.
